Features of the Brad foot locker

Reusable build details behind Shelf Me furniture, from material to joinery to fitted sizing.

Baltic birch panels ready for fabrication
Baltic Birch Construction

Built from thick, durable panels with a clean finished feel

Shelf.me pieces are built from 3/4-inch Baltic birch hardwood plywood, pre-finished for durability, and detailed with a sanded, low-VOC finish on exposed end grain.

Our pieces are built from 3/4-inch Baltic birch hardwood plywood, giving the panels the thickness and strength needed for daily use.

Panel faces are pre-finished with a durable epoxy coating for a clean, resilient surface.

Exposed end grain is sanded and finished with a low-VOC whey-based poly for a smoother, more refined look and feel.

We also use low-waste manufacturing practices. Our proprietary technology is designed to maximize material yield, helping reduce waste through more efficient use of each sheet.

Drawers can be built in a range of sizes
Drawers

Add enclosed storage sized for the way you live

Wood-on-wood drawers add clean, enclosed storage and can be built in a wide range of sizes with multiple front and handle styles.

Our drawers are wood-on-wood, with no metal rails, for a quieter and more integrated feel.

They lock in place during normal use and can still be removed when needed.

Drawer fronts can be inset, outset, or partial outset depending on the look you want.

Drawers can be made in a wide range of heights, widths, and depths, so they work for everything from small everyday items to larger, deeper storage.

Close-fitting joinery with a clean finished look
Precision Joinery

Built with tight seams and clean wood joinery

Our pieces are built with precise wood joinery for a solid feel, tight panel seams, and clean construction without metal fasteners.

Our pieces are built with precise wood joinery instead of depending on metal fasteners.

That approach creates a more solid, unified feel and helps keep seams tight and visually clean.

Careful cutting and joining allow panels to meet with close tolerances, which contributes to both the strength of the piece and the finished look.

The result is furniture that feels sturdy, precise, and intentionally made.

FAQ

Common questions for first-time visitors

Is this made to order?

Yes. You start with this design, configure the version that fits your room, and Shelf.me builds that version to order. Most orders deliver by the next day.

Can I change the dimensions or features?

Yes. The product page is meant to be a starting template, so you can adjust size and details instead of treating it like a fixed catalog SKU.

Is the listed price the starting price or the final price?

Treat it as the price for the current configuration. As you adjust the design, pricing updates to reflect the version you are actually ordering.
